Industry Revolution The New Future is Here
The journey towards global competition in the higher education requires institutions to put a huge amount of effort into research and development (R&D). Experts believe these forces range from new technology deployment to global cooperation and collaboration. The fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0) has changed the landscape of educational innovation. IR 4.0 is controlled by artificial intelligence and digital physical frameworks that make human-machine interface more universal. Quick revolution in innovation has delivered another model of education for the future ─ Education 4.0.
By using cyber physical systems in smart campus, new paradigm in higher education is required. And regarding to establish MEDIU smart campus which is important to use embedding systems, smart campus, and smart services smart education. The aim of proposed conceptual model is to discuss key issues and to provide useful academic and practical implications on smart campus by online survey and literatures review.
Smart campus framework presented specific service areas each belongs to smart education, smart life and smart administration domains and motivating factors of using smart campus. Moreover, by considering key issues and problems raised in previous studies, this study will suggest practical implications for successful development of smart campus.
